I have received a great response from Jayde Listing Notes subscribers with regard to the SEOopen plug-in not compatible with Firefox 3+. On behalf of iEntry, I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
However, I do recommend a similar SEO-based plug-in called SEO for Firefox. It is fully compatible with Firefox 3+, and is a handy SEO tool.
I have provided a video below from the download site of how the plug-in works and how it can be useful to your SEO needs:

The American Presidential election is less than a week away, so I thought I would dedicate this week’s Directory Spotlight edition to the November 4th election.
One way to get the word out about your campaign or your favorite candidate’s campaign out is by use of niche directories. These directories can also provide information to help you gain more information and knowledge about the Presidential candidates, or your local state/city candidates.

For a few hours this morning (Friday, October 24th), there was some unexpected downtime of the iEntry Directory Portal. This was caused by a minor server error.

- Ttra2008 (PR 4) - Categories: Blogs, Education, Entertainment, Shopping.
If you have not checked out SubmitterBot, it is our semi-automatic submission tool which allows the user to choose which directories that they want their business’ website(s) visible. It is completely free, and contains all of the other niche directories that are in iEntry’s possession.

If anyone has encountered any problems with using our directories this morning, there was an unforeseen server problem from the ISP (internet service provider) that hosts the majority of our directories.

Even though we have iEntry Directory Portal blog (this page), there also is the iEntry Directory Portal Forum. This is a forum where you can ask and discuss anything pertaining to directories in the iEntry network.
You may ask any questions pertaining to any of the directories in our network under the Our Directories category which contains subforums of Jayde, Niche Directories, Regional Directories, Social Media Directories, and SubmitterBot (our newly acquired semi-mass submission service). This area is to be used if you are wanting any changes to your listings on any of these directories.
The forum also has subcategories related to general directory topics such as: Popular Directories (discussion regarding other popular directories around the net), Directory Submitters (discussion of topics regarding directory submission services), Directory Software (discussion of directory backend software like phpLD), and Directory Announcements (if you have a free listing directory, feel free to post about it in here).
Also, you may introduce yourself in our forum under our Introduction section, and if you have any suggestions for the forum of what you’d like to see/discuss, please let me know in the Forum Suggestions subcategory of the Miscellaneous section.

Not everyone is always able to get to the iEntry Directory Portal Blog, so I have provided a few different ways to get still get involved with, and informed about the directory happenings of the iEntry network.
- RSS Feed - This is best for directory submitters that are on the go. That way they can receive DP updates on their PDA, BlackBerry, iPhone, etc. Also, this is an option for all of the FeedBurner addicts out there.
- ientrydirportal @ Twitter - For all of the Twitter users out there, the DP has something just for you. Every time there is an update on the DP, a tweet will automatically be made. Feel free to follow the DP from your account.
These are just a few ways to stay in touch with this service. If there are any other ways that we can accomodate you, please leave a comment and let us know.
