As I have referred to in previous posts, Twellow is an online directory of Twitter users that are arranged into various categories. Just recently, Twellow introduced its new feature called TwellowHood which allows people to see a list of fellow Twitter users based on their geographical location.
TwellowHood works by displaying a map of the United States, and allowing you to narrow Twitter users down by state and city just by using mouse clicks. If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, may use that to zoom in/out of the map.
An example of this new feature is: if you were living in Peoria, Illinois and wanted to find other Twitter users in your area, you would click on the Illinois state on the U.S. map. This will provide you with a list of cities within Illinois that are populated by Twitter users. When you select Peoria from the list, a Twellow results page will be shown listing the various Twitter users that are located in Peoria, Illinois resembling the graphic below:
